Tube Star Twist Script

posted by Anu at

I found this interesting Tube Star Twist Script by djeaton3162 (DeviantART) for Apophysis really rewarding and have created many diverse images, a couple of which I feature here:

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

FRACALACEOUS FIREWORKS

The fireworks begin over Sydney Harbor at 9 pm. Fractals in action. What a great show.

FRACTAL MOUNTAIN DREAMING

My mountain home is like a giant head dreaming into the sky. A random flame I couldn't resist montaged over the cutout silhouette in PSCS2.

Happy New Year everybody, may good dreams fuel your fractal visions.

Happy Christmas and best New Year wishes.

Already things on the up here in Oz with good news via media as our new government brings in long-awaited reforms and drought breaking rains brings smiles all round.

Tizzy Bling

I celebrate here with two of my Apophysis fractal composite creations, manipulated in Photoshop. Pretty things in the Christmas bauble genre.

They reinforce Dzeni's posit that more use be made of fractals in composits. I agree. I often make them. Go here for many examples.

I think there are many fractalists who feel one must create "pure" art, leaving Photoshop & GIMP etc out of the final image. I can understand that and strive for a final result just using Apophysis as much as I can. But every now and again an image begs to be improved, perhaps with a gradation background or as a composite, as my two baubles illustrate. Art is art, and how it is achieved is the artist's prerogative. I feel no restrictions in that!

However I think I will always first try to create something that works using Apophysis alone. It hones my skills.

Best wishes to you all.

Anu.
