The Cure for Apophysis "Burn Out"

posted by Dzeni at

Every six months or so, I find that my Apo images start look rather boring. That's when its time to switch to Tierazon for a bit. Tierazon works in a totally different way to Apo, and thus it produces very different images. This is a good thing.

One of Tierazon's strongest features is the ability to create fractals with very strong colours. I also love the fact that one can program in one's own equations very easily. Did I mention that Tierazon is also much, much easier to learn than Apo? Its free too and whilst the download page is not very inspiring, the actual program is great.

Here's one of my favourite Tierazon pieces:

Daisy Chain

*This one is so old, it has a border around it. Sorry! I used to think if you framed it, it was art. Then I realised that frames were generally a bad idea.

And here is a piece created this afternoon.

"Summer Dawn" will feature on my personal blog at some point.

I like th relationship of the recorder to the picture - most evocative.

Nice work :-)
