A little about me

posted by Keith at

This is the only fractal that I have been able to come up with over the last couple of months. My interest in fractal art is not nearly as strong as it used to be, but that could change, I don't know. When this has happened in the past I used to believe that I was in some sort of creative crisis. Now I am content to watch and see what happens. If I feel like creating something new, great. If not, that's OK too. This is a new way for me to be after all of these years of fractal obsession.

I have been more interested in keeping an eye on these birds. I talk about the birds on my personal blog, if you are interested.

Perhaps only one is all you need when it is as fine a piece as this. You really do extraordinary work.

Hummingbirds fascinate me too. The nearest we have to them are Spinebills http://www2.abc.net.au/science/birds/asp/query.asp?Action=Display&id=88
The have an almost subliminal piping call & hover as they extract the nectar from tubiflorae outside my windows. They nest here seasonally and every spring I am gladdened by their arrival.

I don't wonder you are so into hummingbirds, it's a seductive past time.

But don't forget your fractal fans. Maybe you'll reculer pour mieux sortir, ie come back with renewed energies. I often need breaks, but always return to art that is so very fulfilling in the doing & results.

Cheers

I agree with Anu - sometimes one is all you need! It's very beautiful, Keith.

The fractal you stuck in this thread is outstanding, Keith. Love the details within the spiral spokes, colors rock and that backdrop texture is great, too - where'd you keep this one hidden??
